The product is used when overhead line consists of two contact wires, in which case it is necessary to align their tensions at anchoring. It is a double-arm lever to the ends of which the contact wires are attached. The wires are fixed in the crimping sleeves according to the self-crimping principle. The innovation of this device is the elimination of end handles. The new equalizer combines the crimping of contact wires and the compensation of wire length differences into a single device.

It is designed in such a way that it simultaneously tensions the wires and the catenary with an appropriate distribution of the tensioning forces. The distribution of forces depends on the ratio of lever arm lengths. The ratio of arm lengths depends on the tensions required and therefore on the design of the overhead line. The innovation lies in changing the thickness of the material and changing the manufacturing technology. The stiffening element of the lever is bent, while in the old solution it is welded.
