Supporting structures for traffic signals

The poles are made of steel sheet shaped into a conical tube with constant taper.  Our design solution is based on the protected utility model of the Polish Patent Office No. W1019400.  Anticorrosion protection is ensured by zinc coating applied by immersion on the external and internal surfaces of the pole in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 1461 standard.  The durability of this coating, depending on the aggressiveness of the environment, ranges from several to over a dozen years.

Poles are adapted for the foundation

• by putting into the G foundation - G foundation,
• on prefabricated foundations - F foundation,
• on a steel anchoring unit placed into the cast-in-place foundation
• on site - ZK foundation.

The original design of the pole provides good strength and vibration damping ability, which ensures reduced failure rate and ensures proper operation of installed signal lanterns and radars in the road infrastructure.  The design of all our poles at maximum equipment meets the requirements of the Polish Standards in terms of load-bearing capacity limit state.

Signal gates are made on the basis of MABO signal pole units.  Gates with a span of up to 20 m are used in road infrastructure as supporting structures to mount signal lanterns, signs, and information boards over traffic lanes.  Anticorrosion protection is provided by galvanizing in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 1461 standard.

MABO signal gates are adapted for installation:

• on the foundation (F),
• on a steel anchor unit (ZK),
• in the depression in the foundation (G).

The offered equipment of MABO signal gates:

• max. 4 sets (signal lantern contrast screen, sign F11)
• max. 2 sets of lighting brackets with multi-arm boom L=1.5m

Straight poles for installing traffic lights, commonly referred to as SRP, are made of cylindrical pipes.  Anticorrosion protection is provided by galvanizing in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 1461 standard.

Road gates can be used in areas in I, II and III wind zones for all types of terrain according to PN-EN 1991-1-4.  The horizontal door hinge consists of segments of different lengths depending on the door's span. Columns with horizontal transom and individual elements of the horizontal transom are connected with each other through a flange.

Lattice road gates can be used in areas in I, II and III wind zones for all types of terrain according to PN-EN 1991-1-4. Gates are built from assemblies connected by bolts.   For transport and technological reasons the units should not exceed 12m in length.

Anticorrosion protection of structures and anchoring units is provided by galvanizing in accordance with the PN-EN ISO 1461 standard.
