New generation of overhead contact line equipment
The suspension system for the overhead contact line designed by us is based on elements made of aluminium and stainless steel. Its purpose is to support the electrical contact wires and other components of the network. Thanks to the applied design solutions and materials, the new system is characterized by a lower weight in comparison to the solutions used so far, and it also ensures quick and easy installation and very high corrosion resistance as well as the life span of over 40 years.
Our solution is designed to be used on all types of catenary support structures. The basic structural element is a specially developed profile, made of high-strength aluminium alloy, connected with stainless steel elements. Electrical insulation of the suspension is provided by composite insulators with epoxy-glass rods, covered with silicone.
In comparison with the existing suspensions made of hot-dip galvanized steel, the MABO suspensions improve the overhead line operation parameters by changing the overhead contact network parameters, which improves the operating conditions. The materials used in our suspensions extend the lifetime in comparison to traditional solutions.

Simple design and easy installation
We designed the suspension structure assuming the minimum number of components and minimum types of fasteners. As a result, only one spanner is required to install the suspension and adjust it. Designing suspensions in such a way makes the elements self-braking in relation to each other after their initial assembly and such a solution greatly accelerates the overhead line adjustment. In addition, the suspensions are delivered pre-assembled and pre-adjusted which greatly simplifies and shortens the installation time.
Can be used in any overhead contact line
MABO catenary suspensions are adapted to the existing overhead line and can therefore be used for network modernization, as they do not change the geometry of the line or the types of contact wires, catenaries or connection wires.
