Bending on press brakes
CNC bending is the most commonly used metal plastic forming technology. This is usually done with press brakes. The possibility of using presses based on modern CNC technology is a combination of efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Sheet metal an plate bending on a press brake guarantees the expected level of precision, in particular the maintenance of repeatability of the angle with the use of laser measurement of the bending angle, which our machines are equipped with. The technology is used especially when the repeatability of the whole process is assumed - the aim is to obtain a large series of identical elements at a low unit cost. The versatility of the press brake bending method is also important here. It is perfect for both sheet metal and plates.
Our company has 6 press brakes with a press force ranging from 600kN to 5000kN and a machine length from 800mm to 5000mm. Our latest acquisition is a press brake from a reputable manufacturer - LVD
Characteristics of the LVD PPEB-5 400/40 press brake
- pressure force - 4000kN
- working length of bending - 4000mm
- working height - 970mm
- working speed - 11mm/sec
- thickness of bent plates depends on the length of the element and the type of die.
CNC aluminium bending
it is relatively fast and, thanks to specialized computer software, allows almost complete utilisation of the sheet metal and reduces waste to a minimum. Works well not only for one-off orders, but also for medium and large series projects. With the use of modern technology the bending is fully repeatable, unlimited in quantity and extremely precise.
